SPONSOR A DOG KENNEL, HELP HUMANE SOCIETY HELP HOMELESS ANIMALS
Both local businesses and ordinary members of the community can show their support for homeless animals by sponsoring a dog kennel at the Humane Society of Utah’s "Pets in Bloom" Spring Adopt-a-thon on June 5-7, which will be held at the HSU shelter located at 4242 South 300 West.
For a donation of $25 or more, a laminated color sign that can advertise your business, pay tribute to a friend (human or animal), or simply show your compassion for homeless animals, will be placed on one the many kennels that will be seen by the hundreds of people who will attend this event. Dog kennels will be set up on the lawns in front of the building, and cats, small animals, and more dogs will be on display inside the shelter.
We have lots of beautiful animals in full bloom, all of them bursting with life and love, and all of them looking for good new homes. Come on down to the Humane Society and "pick" one of these beauties to blossom in your own heart. Dates and times for the event are as follows:
Friday, June 5 — 12 noon until 7 PM
Saturday, June 6 — 10 AM until 7 PM
Sunday, June 7 — 11 AM until 4 PM
Radio Disney will be at the Adopt-a-Thon on Saturday from 2 PM to 3:30 pm, and there will be lots of fun activities for the whole family all three days. Come on down and go home with the new best friend of your life.
